Configura is in an exciting growth phase where Cloud Services will play a central part. Our ambition is to develop new cloud-based products and to do so we need a new cloud-based application platform. We aim to create a new scalable cloud-native infrastructure with a tightly integrated web application framework.

We are creating a new cloud native platform for Configura to build our next-generation cloud-based products on. We have a clear development process and structured development methodology where it´s the project team that owns the project and makes the important decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop, formulate, implement and improve the technical design together with the Architect group.
• Define the technical direction of cloud-based product components in line with product roadmap and company goals.
• Evaluate situations and determine risks, opportunities for improvement and create reliable estimations for new projects
• Take the technical ownership of cloud-based product components.
• Provide technical leadership at both team and company level, i.e support initiatives both inside and outside your main area of responsibility.
• Build strong relationships across the company and manage decision-making in a timely and respectful manner, based on understanding of multiple points of view.
• Technical stack that we are working on today:
  • Databases, both NoSQL and Relational Database
  • DevOps in Cloud environments, AWS
  • Typed programming languages, Rust
  • Modern JS frameworks, ex. React/Next.js

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelors degree and above in Computer Science or equivalent, with extensive relevant work experience.
• Has good software development experience based on an extensive variety of problems faced in different situations. Preferable to have experience in developing large-scale cloud solutions from scratch.
• Proven record of accurate technical judgement and risk assessment when faced with complex situations
• Technical Stack:
  • Typed programming languages such as C#, JAVA, Golang or RUST
  • Databases: NoSQL and relational databases
  • SAAS Solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud
• Good writing and verbal English communication skills
