Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya is located on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s safe, modern, and vibrant capital. As a growing COBIS‑member school now in our sixth academic year, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Classroom Teacher for January 2026, an understanding of Mandarin is an advantage but not essential as a great teacher is the most important attribute we are looking for!
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons based on the UK National Curriculum, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based learning.
Language Support: Provide additional support to students with English as a second language to aid their understanding and participation in English‑medium instruction.
Classroom Management: Establish a positive, inclusive, and well‑structured classroom environment that encourages student engagement and active learning.
Student Progress: Regularly assess, track, and report on student progress while differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
Collaborative Practice: Work closely with colleagues to plan cross‑curricular units, share best practices, and contribute to school‑wide initiatives and events.
Primary Teaching Experience: Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within a British or international curriculum framework.
Effective Instruction: Strong classroom delivery skills and the ability to design engaging, differentiated lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
Supportive and Culturally Aware: Able to connect with children from diverse backgrounds and provide a nurturing, culturally responsive environment.
Flexible and Adaptable: Comfortable with change and able to adjust teaching strategies to suit different learning contexts.
Team‑Oriented: A collaborative educator who contributes positively to the wider school community.
Organised and Reflective: Manages time effectively and is committed to continuous professional growth.
Experience Supporting EAL Learners: Particularly Mandarin‑speaking students in English‑medium classrooms.
