Job Responsibilities

• Regional Media Liaison: Act as the primary contact for media in assigned markets, building and maintaining strong relationships to earn media coverage.
• Content Creation: Produce high‑quality financial writing, including market commentary and corporate storytelling, that translates complex economic information into clear, engaging content.
• Strategic Execution: Execute PR strategies that ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and adhere to EBC's guidelines.
• Social Listening: Utilize social listening tools to monitor industry trends, brand sentiment, and amplify PR effectiveness on digital channels.
• Crisis & Internal Support: Assist with crisis communications and external events as required.
• Outreach Targets:
  • Conduct at least two proactive media pitches per week (excluding follow‑ups).
  • Secure a minimum of one interview and one bylined article per quarter, per assigned market.
• Perform any ad‑hoc task assigned by superior.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–5 years of experience; we welcome fresh graduates or career‑switchers with a strong interest in financial services.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid interest in and understanding of financial markets and macroeconomics.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Languages: Proficiency in a local language (e.g., Thai, Korean, or Spanish) is a significant advantage for in‑market success.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment with strong organisational and time management skills.
