Role Overview

A leading regional organisation is seeking a Power BI Developer to support its technology transformation function. The role sits within the central renter transformation office and focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise‑level reporting solutions. The position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data teams, and project managers to deliver accurate, high‑quality dashboards and data models that support decision‑making across ongoing transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting assets.
• Partner with business users and project teams to gather, refine, and validate reporting requirements.
• Build and optimise ETL workflows and data pipelines using MS SQL within a cloud‑based environment.
• Integrate and model data from Jira and other enterprise platforms into a unified reporting environment.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across delivered reporting solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues, including DAX query optimisation.
• Support project activities through ad‑hoc analysis, data validation, and reporting enhancements.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Strong understanding of Jira data structures and experience integrating Jira data into analytics solutions.
• Proven proficiency in MS SQL, including complex querying, stored procedures, and data transformation.
• Prior experience in the insurance sector (must‑haveको.
