THE ROLE

As a Senior Manager for the Post-Silicon Validation team within our AMD Server group, you will lead a talented team dedicated to ensuring the quality and performance of our server processors. You will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing comprehensive validation processes to guarantee product excellence and reliability in critical post-silicon stages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performance team of validation engineers.
  • Develop and implement validation strategies for AMD server processors to meet performance and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align validation goals with broader organizational objectives.
• Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of validation projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Identify potential risks, develop contingency plans, and drive resolution of issues that impede validation progress.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Guide the team in developing test plans, methodologies, and infrastructure needed to validate functionality, performance, power, and thermal characteristics.
  • Stay updated with the latest validation tools, technologies, and techniques, and incorporate them into validation processes.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in validation engineering, focusing on PCIe and SoC technology.
• Previous experience in silicon bring-up and validation in a semiconductor environment is preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

• Bachelors or Master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines with more than 15 years of experience.
