Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for Life & Family operational support, business process analysis, processing of service requests as authorized, and other responsibilities/duties periodically assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support Life and Family Servicing requests processing and approve up to authority limit assigned.
  2. Participate in system enhancement, process improvement, and digital projects. Role and Responsibilities include:
  3. Liaise and coordinate with superiors and IT or system support.
  4. Assist superiors in participating in project meetings.
  5. Assist superiors in preparing system/business requirements and reviewing business processes.
  6. Prepare test scripts and perform User Acceptance Testing.
  7. Prepare sign-off documents from stakeholders.
  8. Prepare implementation sign-off documents.
  9. Assist superiors in monitoring results.
  10. Provide operational support including reporting, data analysis, and updating working instructions / Standard Operating Procedures.
  11. Perform all activities with reasonable quality, performance, and within the agreed timeline.
  12. Review and recommend measures to improve existing processes and systems.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

  • Education: Degree or Diploma with relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience in the Insurance Industry.

Technical Skills

  • Essential: PC literate and excellent communication skills.
  • Desirable: Knowledge in Life Insurance/Takaful, good communication/interpersonal skills, computer literacy with knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
