Job summary

A project management consulting firm based in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Project Management Officer with at least 3 years of experience in complex projects. Responsibilities
  • Support the Programme Manager/Project Manager in PED (Project Execution Document) preparation and submission activities
  • Milestone tracking
  • Meeting material preparation (Steering Committees and Working Groups)
  • Meeting minutes preparation and publishing
  • Ensure all project deliverables, artefacts and approvals are stored in a structured discoverable format for future recovery and audit
  • RAID management
  • Programme Terms of Reference preparation and approval management
  • Track, report and collect evidence of PMS (Project Management Standard) artefacts for the Programme
  • Prepare status reporting as required for stakeholder requirements, and programme office
  • Implement governance standards across the programme, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project deliverables
  • Ensure Clarity is up to date including Project static, RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts, and they are tracked and reported to the appropriate governance bodies
  • Resource utilisation tracking
  • Programme/project CR creation and submission
  • Non-Financial benefits tracking
  • KPI tracking
  • Implementing project closure procedure
  • Other activities/tasks as stated in PMO service catalogue.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years junior PM or PMO experience in large and complex, multi-geography, multi-displinary projects.
  • Experience of using Clarity for Programmes / Projects
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation's goal
  • Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn't work and what does
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences
  • Domain knowledge and technical project delivery preferred
