Job summary

A robotics automation company located in Malaysia is seeking a candidate to design and develop control system software for automation equipment. Responsibilities include programming, debugging, and providing technical support for both internal teams and external customers. Applicants should have a background in PLC automation software and be able to travel locally and overseas for support activities. Experience with TwinCAT or CODESYS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control system software for new and existing automation equipment.
• Develop, test, and debug machine software to ensure stable and efficient machine operation.
• Prepare BOM, PR for project implementation.
• Work closely with electrical and mechanical design teams to ensure machine delivery are completed on time for optimal performance.
• Provide software-related technical support to internal teams (production, service) and external customers.
• Travelling (local and overseas) to set-up & support buy-off activity.
• Create and maintain software documentation, including user manuals and version control records.
