Job description

JoinMolex as a Planning Supervisor in our CCS division, based in Malaysia. In this role, you’ll lead production planning and inventory control to meet customer requirements and maximise 3rd Party Revenue, while coaching and supporting your team to overcome challenges and achieve company goals.

Our Team

You’ll be part of the CCS division, collaborating closely with internal departments such as Production, Component Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing, as well as external vendors. The team works together to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What You Will Do
  • Drive the production team to meet customer delivery dates, machine run hours, and revenue goals by developing effective production plans.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure delivery commitments and achieve monthly targets.
  • Review open backlog and forecast capacity to optimise production orders and maximise revenue.
  • Lead recovery planning and escalation in case of serious delivery issues.
  • Advise shipment plans to customers and manage both internal and external production plans.
  • Review and update capacity charts, working with engineering and production teams to resolve constraints.
  • Monitor inventory movement and build buffer stock for optimum control.
  • Review inventory metrics (DSI, S&E, shelf life) to minimise scrap.
  • Support company initiatives (EICC, TS16949, ISO 9001/14001, TQM, GLSS projects).
  • Provide backup for other planners as needed.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of planning experience and few years of people management experiences.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills, with the ability to maximise capacity and output.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to optimise inventory levels.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong mathematics skills.
  • 10+ years’ experience in similar processes and knowledge of SAP, Rapid Response, and APS systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Rapid Response, and APS systems.
