Job summary

A leading semiconductor company located in Penang, Malaysia, is looking for a PMC officer to develop and manage material requirements. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills in both Mandarin and English, as they will interact with Taiwan counterparts. This position focuses on ensuring a continuous flow of materials for production and requires operational responsibilities in receiving and dispatching goods.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a PMC officer in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste.
• Track material delivery schedules and handle anomalies.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Developing and managing material requirements plants to ensure a continuous flow of material of production.
2. Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, ensuring align with the targets and implementing strategies to minimize waste and holding costs.
3. Control, respond to, and track material delivery schedules.
4. Analysis and handling of raw material anomalies.
5. Operations for receiving and dispatching raw materials and goods.
6. Preparation of material status reports and inventory-related reports.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or related field.
2. At least 2 years or above experience work as PMC officer in semiconductor industry, manufacturing or EMS industry.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
4. Good communication skills in both written and spoken in Mandarin, English (need to deal with Taiwan counterpart)
