Responsibilities

  • Implement and control a proper internal control system compliant with policies and ISO procedures.
  • Train and consult with subordinates for efficient workflows.
  • Lead and supervise subordinates in production scheduling and planning.
  • Assist in customer inquiries on delivery status.
  • Update Sales department on job process status.
  • Liaise with Store department on stock item availability.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing department on material arrival lead time.
  • Ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements.
  • Check machine capacity for production planning.
  • Ensure finished goods are properly packed for delivery.
  • Arrange transport for outgoing and incoming parts.
  • Monitor overall department and implement improvements.
  • Maintain effective record-keeping and filing systems.
  • Ensure timely monthly DTD report submissions.
  • Resolve arising problems through discussion.
  • Hand over approved drawings to relevant Production Supervisors.
  • Track jobs throughout production processes to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain housekeeping at all times.
  • Monitor production progress against delivery requirements.
  • Organize daily production meetings.
  • Liaise with subcontractors on parts ETA.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Follow Company 5S Implementation.
  • Perform additional duties as delegated.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • To implement and control a proper internal control system which comply with the Company’s policies and ISO procedure.
  • To train, consult and discuss with your subordinates in order to meet highly efficient workflow.
  • To lead and supervise subordinate in production scheduling and planning.
  • To assist in customer inquiries on the delivery status.
  • To update Sales department on the job process status.
  • To liaise with Store department on the availability of stock items for use.
  • To liaise with Purchasing department for the lead time on the arrival of materials.
  • To ensure customers’ requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • To liaise with Supervisors to check the machine capacity for planning of production schedule.
  • To check on finished goods items EWIP and ensure they are in proper condition and packing for delivery.
  • To arrange the transport for outgoing and incoming parts.
  • To monitor overall dept and time to time implement continuing improvement.
  • To implement and keep good records and an effective filling system.
  • To ensure the monthly submission of DTD report are on time.
  • To solve and discuss any problems arising.
  • To be responsible for handing over the copy of the approved and stamped drawings to the relevant Production Supervisors with pertinent information for commencement of work orders.
  • To be responsible for tracking of the jobs issued throughout the production processes till final completion to ensure timely delivery.
  • To maintain house keeping all the time.
  • To monitoring production progress with respect to delivery requirement.
  • To organize daily production meeting.
  • To liaise with secondary process (Sub-con) on ETA or parts.
  • To ensure compliant to ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • To comply Company 5S Implementation.
  • To carry out any other duties delegated to you from your superior or the Management from time to time.
Liaison with Other Departments
  • To liaise with all department to ensure that the Company's objectives are met.
  • To coordinate with the HR Department in the planning, formulating, developing and implementing of overall policies and procedures.
  • To maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • To enforce the safety rules and regulations in the company.
