Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects.

• Monitor scheduled jobs and troubleshoot batch failures.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – PL/SQL Developer to join a mission-critical banking technology team. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-scale financial applications built on Oracle PL/SQL within Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL objects (procedures, packages, functions, triggers)
• Perform SQL & PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for batch jobs and automation
• Monitor scheduled jobs and troubleshoot batch failures
• Provide L2/L3 production support and resolve critical incidents
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and DBA teams
• Support release deployments and post-deployment validation
• Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory standards
• Prepare technical documentation, run-books, and support procedures
