Job description

We are representing our client, a healthcare provider specialising in senior care and rehabilitation. Operating multiple branches across Malaysia, with a particular focus on the Klang Valley, our client offers personalised nursing care. Their services include post-surgery recovery, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, and psychological counselling.

Job Description:

  • Conduct physiotherapy screenings for each new admission, prepare a comprehensive write-up, and brief family members on the results.
  • Provide professional physiotherapy sessions as requested, lasting at least 50 minutes.
  • Monitor and review patient progress, aiding recovery from accidents or injuries.
  • Perform systematic and relevant assessments independently.
  • Identify and prioritise patient problems, planning appropriate treatment.
  • Deliver relevant and effective interventions for patients.
  • Evaluate patients through tests, movements, and discussions.
  • Discuss patient progression with the healthcare team.
  • Organise daily therapeutic exercise sessions of at least 15 minutes.
  • Facilitate group exercises or activities with patients.
  • Assist nurses as a caregiver during peak hours.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to conduct thorough and systematic evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively liaising with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to create and implement personalised treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation practices.
  • Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care, ensuring comfort and dignity for all patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team as well as independently.

Note: Physiotherapist will also receive commissions per session with fixed salary
