Overview
The Photographer cum Videographer is responsible for planning, shooting, and producing high-quality visual content that aligns with the brand's style and project objectives. This role requires both creativity and technical skills in photography, videography, lighting, and post-production.
Key Responsibilities
Photography
- Capture high-quality photos for products, events, behind-the-scenes, portraits, lifestyle shots, and marketing campaigns.
- Plan and execute photo concepts that match brand aesthetics.
- Set up studio or on-site lighting, backdrops, and equipment.
- Edit and retouch photos to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Manage and organize a digital library of images for easy access and retrieval.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in photography and social media.
- Assist in developing creative concepts for campaigns and promotional materials.
Videography
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for social media campaigns, product launches, tournaments, booth events, and other sports-related activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop video content aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Capture dynamic action shots, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and event highlights.
- Edit and optimize videos for various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), ensuring each video is platform-specific.
- Ensure all visual content is delivered on time and meets the project requirements.
- Film videos including reels, commercials, interviews, events, product showcases, and documentaries.
- Plan shot list, story direction, and creative angle with the team.
- Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment proficiently.
- Edit videos with clean transitions, music, subtitles, and colour grading.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a photographer, videographer and video editor preferably in product photography and social media content creation.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of photography skills, including product shots and lifestyle images.
- Proficiency in using professional photography equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, and color correction.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and how to create content that engages audiences.
- Degree or certification in photography, visual arts, or a related field is a plus.
