About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care, support retail operations, and grow professionally in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant workflow.
  • Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify prescriptions, check dosages, and ensure medicines are correctly prepared, labelled, and supplied safely.
  • Provide professional consultation and advice to customers on medication usage, side effects, and general health matters.
  • Conduct in-house health screening services, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol monitoring, and diabetes screening.
  • Assist in training and guiding the retail team to maintain high service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring proper stock control and minimising wastage.
  • Stay updated with current pharmacy practices, new medications, and therapeutic uses to ensure best patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
  • Registered with the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Board (MPB) and qualified for Poison License A.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented retail environment.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in both Malay and English (spoken and written).
