Qualifications

Job description

The Pharmacist is responsible for the use and distribution of drugs in the hospital ensuring their safe usage, prompt and accurate delivery to patients requiring them.

Performs medication order review, medication reconciliation, dispensing and provides medication counseling to patients

Provides drug information to medical staff and other healthcare professionals

Ensures pharmaceutical care is provided according to hospital SOPs, accreditation standards and legal requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university
• Must be registered with Pharmacy Board of Malaysia
• Possess Poison Type A License to deal generally with Controlled Medicines
• Experienced in hospital-based Pharmacy is an advantage
• A team-player with strong leadership skills
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
