Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for: Sales Manager (Neuroscience)

Purpose:

The Sales Manager (Neuroscience) will lead a high-performing team to drive sales growth and market penetration for our neuroscience portfolio, including innovative treatments for mental health conditions. This role is pivotal in shaping territory strategies, building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and ensuring seamless execution of commercial plans across Malaysia.

You will manage a team, providing leadership, coaching, and development to achieve ambitious sales objectives. The position requires critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for improving patient outcomes in the CNS space.

You will be responsible for:
  • Drive monthly/quarterly/annual sales objectives and market share growth for the neuroscience portfolio.
  • Managing a team which includes recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Develop & implement territory plans covering Central, East Coast, Northern & East Malaysia; optimize coverage and resource allocation.
  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and ensure accurate CRM hygiene and sales reporting.
  • Identify, build, and nurture KOLs and priority accounts; improve lifetime value and access in state institutions.
  • Coordinate with marketing, medical, product, and operations to align campaigns, launches, and demand generation.
  • Analyze sales metrics, market feedback, competitor intel; refine tactics and address gaps swiftly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, handle partner concerns, and uphold compliance standards.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years total commercial experience, including 2+ years leading teams in pharma.
  • Prior CNS/neuroscience or specialty care experience dealing with state hospitals, mental health institutions, and psychiatrists/medical officers.
  • Energetic people leader who can motivate, coach, and develop diverse field teams across regions.
  • Bachelor’s degree; science/medical background strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to hit sales indicators, manage pipeline/forecast, and maintain accurate CRM data and reporting.
  • Strong territory planning, key account development, and market penetration skills; adept at cross-functional collaboration (marketing, medical, operations).
  • Familiar with compliance requirements; capable of product and skills training for reps.
  • Willing to travel ~1 week/month, including quarterly trips to East Malaysia; comfortable with car/flight options (normal working hours 9am–5pm, field-based).
