Job summary

A leading industrial gas company in Shah Alam is seeking a candidate for package gas production. The role involves ensuring safety and operational standards in filling activities and managing plant inventories. Applicants should have an SPM qualification and preferably 1 year of experience in plant operations. This position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety and environmental procedures while engaging in duties such as SAP transactions and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum with SPM qualification.
• Preferably 1 year experience in plant operations.
• Basic knowledge in MS Windows Office.
• Possess good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cylinder & dewar filling activities.
• Ensure analysis are carried out based on product requirement.
• Load and unload cylinders & packs to/from trucks.
• Prepare delivery schedules for distribution and walk-in customers.
• Responsible for SAP transactions related to good receive and inventory activities.
• Take care of plant inventories like cylinders, tools, and hoses.
• Carry out preventive & predictive maintenance for plant equipment.
• Ensure Quality, Safety, and Environmental procedures during refilling activities.
• Assist in internal & external audit compliance.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations.
• Report any operation issues to superiors.
• Perform other duties as directed by superiors.

Purpose

This position is responsible on day to day Package gas production.

Nature and Scope

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all activities related toPGG Transfill are executed in a safe manner according to AP guidelines, procedures and best practices so that in general this builds up the AP safety culture.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To perform cylinder & dewar filling activities.
• To ensure analysis are carried out based on the product requirement
• To load and unload cylinders & packs to/ from trucks
• Prepares delivery schedules for distribution and walk-in customers.
• Responsible for SAP transactions related to good receive, good issue, cycle counting or other inventory-related activities
• Take proper care of plant inventories e.g. cylinders, tools, fittings, hoses & etc.
• To carry out preventive & predictive maintenance for plant equipment
• To ensure Quality, Safety and Environmental procedures are followed during refilling activities.
• To ensure safety requirements are followed in the plant, including for customers and visitors.
• To assist internal & external audit and to comply to all the operating procedures.
• To assist in customer’s complaints investigation
• To escape any operation issues to superior.
• To perform other duties as directed by superiors.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum with SPM qualification
• Preferably 1 year experience in plant operations
• Basic knowledge in MS Windows Office
• Possess good oral and written communication skills
