A professional transportation and security service is seeking a Personal Driver Bodyguard to ensure safe transport and personal protection for the Principal. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably with a background in law enforcement or military training. The ideal candidate will possess excellent defensive driving skills, situational awareness, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Flexibility for irregular hours is required.
The Personal Driver Bodyguard is a dual‑role position responsible for ensuring both the safe and efficient transportation of the Principal and their personal protection at all times. This position demands a high level of professionalism, discretion, alertness, and physical readiness. The ideal candidate is experienced in both defensive driving and personal security, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or threats.
Drive the Principal to appointments, meetings, events, and other locations safely and on time.
Maintain the cleanliness, fueling, and regular service of assigned vehicles.
Plan and research travel routes to ensure timely arrivals and avoid high‑risk or congested areas.
Remain on standby while the Principal is engaged and ready for sudden schedule changes.
Ensure proper documentation of vehicle use, mileage, and maintenance records.
Provide close personal protection to the Principal during travel, public appearances, and daily routines.
Conduct security checks of routes, vehicles, and venues as needed.
Monitor surroundings and identify potential threats or suspicious activity.
Respond quickly and effectively to any security breach, emergency, or threat.
Maintain a discreet and professional presence to protect the Principal’s privacy and safety.
Collaborate with other household staff, security personnel, or assistants as required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (driving and/or close protection).
Background in law enforcement, military, or certified security training is highly preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent situational awareness, quick reflexes, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.
Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Excellent physical condition and stamina.
Ability to work long hours, stand or remain alert for extended periods.
Capable of responding quickly to physical threats or emergencies.
