Job Description

Sales – Personal and Wealth Banking is responsible for branch sales and portfolio growth efforts related to various bank products. A licence to sell securities and related investment products is required. Activities include supporting promotional activities, enhancing customer relationships, and referring customers to other areas as appropriate. The Personal Banker focus specialises in unlicensed sales staff; objectives include maximising revenues, product initiatives, sales, customer satisfaction, and minimising operational losses while deepening existing relationships and minimising customer attrition.

Consumer Banking covers activities related to providing services and products directly to consumers through various business channels. This group includes retail banking, consumer lending, auto finance, small business banking, and related business areas.

Additional Requirements

• Educate and coach new field staff by providing regular training.
• Execute marketing activities and work closely with partner banks on Bancassurance product distribution.
• Engage sales and marketing executives to market products and provide product servicing, facilitating sales coaching and competency training to sales staff.
• Serve as key liaison supporting bank partners for all matters pertaining to changes in policy (payment mode, changes in plans, trustee appointment, top‑ups).
• Track and ensure sufficient marketing collateral (e.g. brochures, gift items, proposal forms) at branches, and support roadshows and promotional events.
• Provide periodic sales report updates and follow up on claims matters until settlement.
• Language proficiency: Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
