Personal Assistant & Business Development Associate

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Fuji Electronics' (X-PRO) team as a Personal Assistant & Business Development Associate. In this full-time role based in Johor Bahru, Johor, you will provide executive-level support to the senior leadership team while also contributing to the company's new business development initiatives.

What you'll be doing
  • Business Development & Executive Support
    • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth prospects
    • Assist with research, analysis, and preparation of presentations and reports
    • Finding and generating new sales leads through various channels
    • Leveraging social media and e-commerce platforms to drive business growth and engagement
    • Development and implementation of business development strategies
    • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and events
  • Sourcing: Research potential suppliers for business services or product inventory, obtaining competitive quotes and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Order Management: Create and track purchase orders (POs) to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain an updated database of vendors and serve as the primary point of contact for resolving shipment or invoicing discrepancies.
  • Assigning tasks to team members and ensuring clear communication
  • Tracking progress, deadlines, and dependencies
  • Identifying and resolving roadblocks, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies
  • Improving processes and workflows for maximum efficiency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project goals
What we're looking for
  • Demonstrated experience as a personal assistant or executive assistant, preferably in a sales or business development environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of the IT industry and experience in new business development would be an advantage
  • Prefer to be able to converse in Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
