The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or HR, with 2-3 years of payroll experience. Strong attention to detail and confidentiality skills are essential for handling sensitive payroll information. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel is required. Job description

Prepare and process the monthly/bi-weekly payroll for all employees.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, overtime, and any other payroll-related data.

Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and tax regulations, including statutory deductions (e.g., Employee Provident Fund, Socso, EIS, income tax & etc.).

Generate and file tax-related documents and statutory reports.

Prepare and maintain all payroll-related documentation and reports for audit and compliance purposes.

Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system, ensuring all personal, employment, and salary-related information is accurate, current and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.

Prepare and submit SOCSO Claims Documents for workers (Accident Cases) to SOCSO.

Process and manage payroll adjustments, including salary changes, promotions, and new hires.

Prepare and submit reports on payroll costs, deductions, and employee benefits to management as required.

Always ensure confidentiality of sensitive payroll data and information.

Follow company policies and procedures to maintain the security of payroll data.

To carry out any other jobs as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Accounting, Finance, HR, or other related field Certification.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with payroll software (specific payroll systems) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory benefits.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
