Role Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated Paymaster cum General Cashier to oversee payroll and manage cash transactions with integrity and discretion.

What will I be doing?

• Perform payroll administration in full compliance with local labor laws.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all compensation matters.
• Manage daily cash flow, prepare accurate bank deposits, and reconcile cash discrepancies.
• Secure handling and proper safeguarding of cash and cash equivalents.
• Proficiently use hotel accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and payroll software to generate accurate reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory filings and payroll‑related documentation.
• Maintain clear professional communication with internal teams, banking partners, and external auditors.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to provide timely compensation data and financial reports.
• Handle sensitive financial information with utmost confidentiality and integrity.

What are we looking for?

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience in payroll administration and cashiering with strong background in luxury hospitality sector.
• Experience in hotel pre‑opening projects is a valuable asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, labor regulations).
• Uphold highest standards of integrity, accuracy, and discretion in managing sensitive financial and team member information.
• Proficient in financial systems and payroll software, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, familiarity with hotel accounting platforms.
