• Negotiate loan or purchase terms with customers, explaining interest rates, repayment schedules, and other relevant details clearly and transparently.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including item descriptions, loan amounts, customer information, and payment history, using the pawn shop's software system.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently, following established procedures for balancing the cash drawer and preparing deposits.
• Display and merchandise items in an attractive and organized manner, ensuring that items are clean, secure, and easily accessible to customers.
• Answer customer inquiries in person, by phone, or via email, providing information about pawn shop services, policies, and available merchandise.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pawn shop, including dusting, sweeping, and arranging displays.
