Job Summary: You will assist in plan the development and execution of sourcing strategies for new projects, driving cost benchmarking, supplier negotiations, and innovative cost-reduction initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project budgets and annual cost-saving targets while enhancing supply chain localization and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Localization & Supplier Development: Identify and nominate local suppliers with cost advantages to promote localization and reduce dependency on international supply chains.
Cost Analysis & Benchmarking: Conduct detailed cost structure analysis and industry benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and sustainable savings.
Supplier Negotiation & Risk Management: Lead price negotiations with suppliers to meet project and annual cost reduction goals. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Market Dynamics Monitoring: Execute periodic price reviews tied to forex fluctuations, commodity trends, and market shifts to maintain pricing accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between brand principals and suppliers to align technical specifications, quality standards, and commercial terms.
Innovation in Cost Reduction: Identify and implement creative cost-saving strategies, including process improvements, alternative materials, and value engineering.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: 2–3 years of experience in automotive PROCUREMENT, engineering, or manufacturing. AUTO PARTS manufacturing knowledge is critical.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cost analysis tools (e.g., Should-Cost Modeling), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and MS Excel. Understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, emotional intelligence, leadership, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP)
Experience with electric vehicle (EV) components or emerging automotive technologies.
