About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Partnership Manager and Business Development Executive / Manager to join our growing team. This full‑time role is based in Kuala Lumpur or Penang and will play a crucial part in expanding our client base and driving business growth.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, results‑oriented, and curious about “AI‑know how”. The position also requires willingness to travel outstation when necessary to meet with existing and potential clients, with fully claimable mileage and accommodation allowance.
Responsibilities
- Spot New Opportunities: Identify and connect with potential partners across a wide range of industries to unlock exciting business opportunities.
- Craft Winning Proposals: Develop compelling, customized partnership proposals and presentations that align with partner goals and business needs.
- Seal the Deal: Lead negotiations and close strategic partnerships that create real value for both sides.
- Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and ongoing success of every partnership.
- Expand Our Horizon: Explore untapped markets and industries to broaden our reach and diversify growth opportunities.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a close eye on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to maintain our competitive edge.
- Multi‑Product Champion: Confidently sell and cross‑sell across our full range of products and services, matching the right solutions to each client’s needs.
- Pipeline Owner: Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking leads from prospecting to closure.
- Strategic Thinker: Contribute ideas for new products, partnerships, and business models that can expand market reach.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent the company professionally at networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
- Customer Champion: Understand client pain points and work with internal teams to deliver solutions that add real value.
- Team Player: Work closely with the Head of Business Development and other teams to ensure we’re all moving in the same direction.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in biz dev or partnerships.
- You know how to make a deal and keep relationships strong.
- Ready to travel and find it hard to stay in the office all day.
- Ready to juggle priorities in a fast‑paced world.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
