Job description
Part Time Lecturer - Advertising & Brand Management
  • Undertake teaching and related duties such as designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials for Advertising & Brand Management modules.
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to students to support their learning and development.
  • Participate in assessment activities including invigilation, marking, and moderation.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning in line with the University’s expectations and industry relevance.
Administration and Other Activities
  • Contribute to administrative responsibilities such as attending departmental meetings, working groups, and programme-related activities within the Department, School, or Faculty as required.
  • Support student engagement initiatives, industry collaborations, and events aligned with the programme’s objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate must have at minimum a Master’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Branding, or other relevant fields. PhD holders are preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching and curriculum development or substantial industry experience in advertising, branding, or marketing with evidence of coaching, mentoring, and high-quality presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of digital and interactive technologies to facilitate learning.
  • Strong industry network and knowledge of current trends in advertising and brand management are an added advantage.
