As a GQ (Global Quality) Package Reliability Process Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you will be responsible for defining and coordinating area projects, analyzing resources utilization, and evaluating new equipment needs. You will interact and advise on a regular basis with internal and external customers. Additional duties include managing the overall performance and development of the team. You will be expected to provide regular performance feedback to team members, establish goals and development plans and provide opportunities to expand skills and promote career growth.

Manage New Process Qualification

• Facilitate and manage qualification
• Comprehend failures and failure rates within the scope of the qualification
• Perform risk assessment at all decision points within the qualification cycle

Develop Process Reliability Methodology and Qualification

• Coordinate with Research and Development (R&D) teams
• Comprehend new processes/technologies for process reliability issues
• Develop process reliability tests to assess new process failure mechanisms
• Ensure that test methodology follows industry standards, such as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC)
• Define process sampling plan and instruction.
• Analyze and report results
• Analyze failures and coordinate failure analysis
• Develop process monitor plan

Support Excursion Material Disposition

• Provide support for R&D for new technology nodes
• Assess or evaluate Special Work Requests (SWRs)/Excursions for process reliability risk
• Define evaluation(s) necessary to mitigate risk
