Operate production equipment and perform assembly, testing, and packing to meet quality, safety, and output targets for Intrix products (e.g., hot water system, water filtration components).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and shut down assigned machines and workstations in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately assemble components and sub-assemblies using designated jigs, tools, and fixtures.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections, including dimensional checks, visual inspections, and leak or pressure testing, and ensure results are properly documented.
- Promptly escalate quality defects, equipment malfunctions, or material shortages in accordance with the Andon or escalation procedures.
- Complete production orders, labeling, and traceability documentation accurately and within required timelines.
- Maintain 5S standards at the workstation, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of tools, materials, and components.
- Comply strictly with workplace safety requirements, including the use of PPE, adherence to LOTO procedures, and proper chemical handling; report any near misses or incidents immediately.
- Support production line changeovers, perform basic autonomous maintenance activities, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to achieve daily production targets.
- Pack finished goods in accordance with Work Instructions (WI) and ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Company that are relevant to the department’s operations.
Key Requirements
- SPM qualification or equivalent; a technical or vocational certificate will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing/assembly will be an added advantage.
- Inexperienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions, with fundamental measurement skills (e.g., ruler and caliper usage).
- Fit and capable of standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting items weighing approximately 15–20 kg using proper handling techniques.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and scanning activities, including barcode systems and production software.
- Willingness to work on shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
