Job description

H.S.S. Confectionery Foodstuff – Muar, Johor

1. Ensure compliance with the company’s operational guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

2. Oversee production processes to ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials, ensuring smooth operations.

3. Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

4. Develop production strategies based on forecasts and customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.

5. Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to enhance production outcomes.

6. Continuously review manpower allocation and production practices to improve productivity and reduce conversion costs.

7. Monitor working hours of each production line with line leaders/supervisors and take necessary actions to meet targets.

8. Collaborate with Maintenance Department for machine and production line maintenance and improvement projects.

9. Train and upgrade production team skills to maximize productivity.

10. Ensure production activities comply with Halal, GMP, HACCP, DOSH, and other statutory requirements.

11. Oversee document control and quality record management to ensure audit compliance and document integrity.

12. Manage order processing, customer communication, and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.

13. Supervise purchasing planning and procurement processes to ensure timely and quality material supply, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

14. Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely material inflow/outflow and reasonable inventory levels.

15. Ensure safety standards are maintained, creating a healthy and safe work environment.

16. Establish a clear Operations Department structure, including communication protocols, scopes of work and SOPs.

17. Lead weekly team meetings to review progress, realign manpower, assign responsibilities, and proactively train and develop departmental talent to enhance overall team performance.

18. Manage team KPIs, evaluate performance, and provide feedback to enhance individual and team effectiveness.

19. To undertake any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Company.
