Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall management and coordination of day-to-day department operations.
• Supervise staff, coordinate projects and renovations, and support the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of contractors and service providers (housekeeping, linen, pest control, landscaping, waste management) to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Support the Head of Department in driving operational initiatives and ensuring full compliance with SOPs, safety requirements, infection control standards, accreditation guidelines, and relevant legal regulations.
• Plan workflows, determine staffing needs, and monitor attendance to maintain consistent, high-quality services across all ancillary and clinical areas of the hospital.
• Conduct in-service training and educational programs for staff in accordance with established guidelines.
• Ensure that all quality standards within assigned areas are consistently met and maintained.

Job Requirements

• Possess Degree in Operations, Management, Building Services or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ working experience in the related field is required for this position.
