Job summary

A mall management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Operations Executive to oversee daily operations of the mall and ensure tenant compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include assisting tenants and customers, preparing purchase orders, and supervising activities. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in Business Studies/Administration, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential, as well as excellent communication abilities in English.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth operations of the Mall.
  • Monitor and ensure tenants comply with complex rules and regulations.
  • Provide assistance to Tenants/Customers whenever possible.
  • Handle and liaise with other departments on tenants complaints and operational issues.
  • Prepare purchase requisition and purchase order.
  • Supervise and assist in A&P activities set-up.
  • Issue circulars/reminders for tenants regarding essential operations.
  • Assist in the issuance of working permits for renovations and closures.
  • Assist Operations Manager on fit-out work when required.

Job description

Oversee day-to-day operation and ensuring smooth operations of the Mall.

To monitor and ensure tenants comply with complex rules and regulations.

To provide assistance to Tenants / Customers whenever possible and to highlight issues to the relevant departments should a problem arises.

To handle and liaise with other departments on tenants complaints/any rectification works/operational issues/moving-in & moving out.

Prepare purchase requisition and purchase order.

Supervising and assisting in A&P activities set-up as well as coordinating on-ground activities in the mall.

Responsible for the issuance of all circulars/reminders for tenants e.g. Pest Control, Water/Power Interruption, Bomba Inspection, Fire Alarm Testing, etc.

Assist in the issuance of all working permits for tenants on renovation, re-instatement, shop closure, stock-take, early closure, etc.

Assist Operations Manager on fit-out work, when required.

Job Requirements

Possess Diploma/Degree in Business Studies / Administration or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years’ of relevant experience in related job.

Analytical and mature with good organizational skills.

Possess good oral and written communication skills particularly in English
