About the Role:

The Team

Editorial, Design and Publishing (EDP) partners with content producers across all divisions and functions to improve insights for clients, driving innovation alongside standardization to deliver content that is actionable, engaging and brand consistent. Within EDP, the Transformation and Enablement team provides transformative solutions and training to enable teams to reach their optimal levels of functionality, including development and maintenance of tools and technology for editing and designing content across S&P Global's platforms. The team is at the forefront of exploring and integrating Generative AI solutions to enhance content creation, automation, and efficiency in editorial and design workflows.

Responsibilities and Impact
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of EDP’s tools and technology systems that support content creation, editing, and publishing workflows across S&P Global's digital platforms
  • Work together in process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance editorial efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and improve content quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement transformative solutions that enable editorial teams to reach optimal functionality and productivity levels
  • Explore, evaluate, and integrate Generative AI solutions to enhance content creation, automate routine editorial tasks, and improve workflow efficiency
  • Provide training and enablement support to teams on new tools, technologies, and best practices for content production and design
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for standardization while maintaining innovation in content delivery methods
What We're Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in editorial operations, content management, or digital publishing environments
  • Citizen development experience with low-code/no-code platforms to build business applications and automate workflows
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in content management systems, publishing platforms, and editorial workflow tools
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to train and support diverse teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for comprehensive document management and reporting
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in publishing, media, or editorial environments with understanding of content creation workflows and editorial processes
  • Experience with Python and or Flow Canvas for workflow management
  • Familiarity with content management systems and the ways in which they operate
  • Experience with data analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI) for measuring content performance and operational efficiency
