Job summary

A regional agriculture company in Kuching is seeking a maintenance technician to perform servicing of laboratory equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and supervise subcontractors. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory maintenance, is physically fit, and possesses a valid driving license. Willingness to work after office hours is required. Qualifications

• Possess SPM or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in laboratory maintenance, or a related field
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, and basic mechanical repairs are preferred
• Physically fit and able to carry out routine maintenance tasks
• Possess a valid driving license
• Willing to work after office hours occasionally or abased on job requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance for generators, electrical wiring, and plumbing systems
• Supervise and monitor subcontractors’ activities on-site to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Record and monitor monthly utility meter readings (electricity, water, etc.)
• Handle despatch and delivery of goods, parcels, and documents between offices
• Assist in collecting spears from cargo and manage the despatch of ramets to cargo services
• Transport staff and ensure all assigned company vehicles are regularly maintained, clean, and roadworthy
• Perform other operational support tasks as assigned by the supervisor
