A logistics company in Klang City is seeking a candidate to coordinate transshipment cargo and manage documentation for laden and empty containers. The role requires effective communication skills and a relevant Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, along with at least 2 years of experience in logistics. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with customs, documentation for payments, and resolving shipping issues efficiently.
Coordinate transshipment cargo for laden and empty container, reexport laden container on major vessels and feeder vessels to ensure it reach to final destination timely.
Coordinate with port, terminal, and inter-department to transfer and update import status lists for laden and empty containers.
Ensure timely submission of ESSR, DG documentation, and K6 declarations in compliance with port, customs, and statutory regulations.
Identify and resolve issues such as rollovers container, vessel delays, and cargo misconnection issues.
Dealing with custom to handle Dangerous Cargo, reefer container issues at the port, ensuring corrective action and ZB3 submission within stipulated timelines.
Handle verification of port bills to ensure accuracy, correctness of charges, and compliance with agreed tariffs.
Documentation
Preparing Bills of Lading, Debit Note, Tax Invoice, communicate with customers for payment collection prior to the release of original Bills of Lading. Follow up on Third Area payment collections.
Responsible for issuance of Telex Release, cargo manifest and correction manifest.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma orBachelor’s degree in Logistic, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or equivalent.
Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping line or logistic.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with inter-department, external partners and custom authorities.
