Job summary

A local staffing agency in Penang is seeking a factory/production worker to assist in daily operations and support machine operators. Responsibilities include manual handling of materials, ensuring cleanliness and safety in the work area, and following safety guidelines. Ideal candidates will have at least an SPM, be physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, including shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in factory/production/warehouse/operator role is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if needed.
• Responsible and disciplined individual.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production and operational tasks as instructed by the supervisor
• Support machine operators in handling materials, components, and finished goods
• Load and unload materials, products, or equipment as required
• Perform basic machine operation, set‑up, or monitoring when needed
• Handle packing, labelling, sorting, and inspection of products
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times (5S)
• Report any machine issues, defects, or safety risks to the supervisor
• Assist in inventory checking and material movement within the department
• Follow workplace safety, quality, and SOP guidelines strictly
• Support overtime or shift work when required

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent
