Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the OT team.
• Develop and maintain OT protocols, SOPs, and best practices.
• Ensure operational readiness of OT equipment and instruments.
• Work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists on case planning.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives.

Skills

Leadership in OT team

Registered Nurse with Post basic in Perioperative Nursing

Job description

Provide leadership and direction to the OT team.

Develop and maintain OT protocols, SOPs, and best practices in line with MOH & accreditation requirements and hospital standards.

Ensure operational readiness and functionality of OT equipment, instruments, consumables, and HIS; champion the adoption of digital workflows and smart technologies.

Work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists on case planning, theatre utilisation, and optimisation of surgical flow.

Lead quality improvement initiatives and support accreditation processes.

Foster a high-performance culture characterised by teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous learning.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with Post basic in Perioperative Nursing.

Strong knowledge of OT operations, infection control, patient safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Experience with digital or smart hospital systems is an added advantage.
