Overview

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for Online Norwegian Language Teachers to provide customized online lessons to our clients.

Job Information

• Student: 2 boys (ages 16 & 17) will have back-to-back classes
• Availability: Weekday evenings starting from 17:30 CET
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 2x a week
• Lesson Duration: 1h for each
• Student’s current location/time zone: Oslo
• Preferred platform: Any
• Current target language level: Experienced learner. They have already covered some material at school. He can read and write. He started to study Norwegian at a higher level which is extremely difficult so he needs support
• Native and other spoken languages: Arabic, English
• Student’s language needs and goals: Support Norwegian learning in IB curriculum. To reach C1 level - The boy needs to pass an exam for college entry; he won’t be accepted by the college if his Norwegian is not good enough. He needs to be at C1 or at least near to that level. He needs support urgently.

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
