Job summary

A healthcare provider in Malaysia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat patients' physical and cognitive skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team, administer therapeutic exercise programs, and provide support to patients and families. A Diploma, Bachelor, or Master in Occupational Therapy, along with excellent communication skills and a cheerful attitude, is preferred. Relocation to Pulau Tikus is necessary for this role.

Qualifications

• Preferred Diploma/Bachelor/Master in Occupational Therapy.
• 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and interaction skills.
• Plan and administer treatments and therapeutic exercises.
• Perform diagnostic exams to evaluate patients' functional abilities.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Do assessments of physical, communication, interaction, and cognitive skills of patients
• Planned and administered treatments, modalities and therapeutic exercise programs
• Performed diagnostic and prognostic exams to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint and functional abilities
• Work together with doctors, and other professionals to keep them updated on patient’s progress
• Provide guidance, advice, and support for patients and families member

Requirements:

• Preferably Diploma/Bachelor/Masters in Occupational Therapy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with cheerful and vibrant attitude.

Ability to commute/relocate:
Pulau Tikus: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:
Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:
Occupational Therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:
