Job Description
1. Operations & Maintenance
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Carry out corrective maintenance works to address identified defects.
- Support plant performance monitoring activities.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot electrical and technical issues related to PV systems and associated equipment.
- Assist engineers during system testing, commissioning, and performance evaluation.
3. Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Execute PM inspections according to established schedules.
- Complete and submit PM checklists and reports on a monthly basis.
- Support completion of PM activities within defined timelines.
4. Corrective Maintenance (CM)
- Assist in DC string inverter replacement and PV module replacement works.
- Rectify tracker-related and electrical defects identified during inspections.
- Support defect resolution activities to minimise plant downtime.
5. Civil & Site Maintenance
- Carry out vegetation control, drainage maintenance, and perimeter upkeep.
- Perform inverter station and control cabin cleaning works.
- Support overall site housekeeping activities.
6. PV Cleaning Support
- Manage water sources and tools required for PV cleaning activities.
- Inspect PV cleaning works carried out by contractors.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all works comply with company safety procedures and regulatory standards.
- Follow established SOPs, HSE requirements, and site safety rules.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
- Update maintenance records and assist with plant documentation management.
Job Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electrical & Electronic, or related technical field.
- Minimum Wireman Certification (PW / PW1 / PW2) registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
- Experience in solar PV, electrical maintenance, or industrial plant environment is an advantage.
- Able to perform hands‑on work in outdoor and site‑based environments.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety procedures and maintenance practices.
- Able to read basic electrical drawings and follow technical instructions.
- Willing to work on weekends or standby when required.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage.
