Job summary

A healthcare facility in Malaysia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Radiographer / Senior Radiographer to provide professional services and assist in diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging, with 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred. Responsibilities include ensuring radionuclide availability, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, performing accuracy checks, and conducting quality control on PET/CT. Job Summary
Render Professional Nuclear Medicine Services and assist in Diagnostic Radiology.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure availability of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals for the smooth running of nuclear medicine activities.
  • Assist Radiopharmacist in preparing required radiopharmaceuticals for daily use by observing sterile and aseptic techniques and ensuring QC as per task procedure.
  • Perform daily checks to ensure the accuracy of radioactivity measurement according to the dose calibrator.
  • Perform routine quality control testing on PET/CT to ensure optimal functioning of PET/CT before carrying out imaging procedures.
  • Assist in performing oncology CT simulations with Radiation Therapist as per the policies and procedures applicable for the CT simulator room.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging/Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Preferably at least 1-2 years of clinical experience.
