Job description

As a Engineer - NPI Engineer, you will be responsible to perform design, process and material optimizations to ensure robust NPI introduction. You will also need to perform Technical Risk Assessment on NPI projects. Oversee all commercial aspects including RFQ, NPI / MP Launch, scheduling, coordination and payment follow up.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project team to ensure timely implementation of NPI project.
• Review customer drawings, bill of materials and specification.
• Develop process flow, bill of material, and process drawing for new product.
• Lead to resolve any technical issues arise during product.
• Develop, analyze, and record permanent solution for any problem encountered during project implementation.
• Design and develop new jig and fixture for new product and process improvement.
• Ensure availability and reliability of project/order file such as technical document, specification, BOM etc.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/ Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
