Uniquely combining technology expertise and domain knowledge, we are at the heart of the sector’s digitalization journey, an enabler of the green transition – and we’re just getting started. As part of our growth strategy we’re looking for Senior Network Engineers. If you thrive on cutting‑edge technology, love solving complex challenges, and want to help customers succeed by implementing smart, future‑ready network solutions, then this could be the role for you.

About the Role

Customer Delivery is a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering all aspects of our projects and deliveries to our existing customers worldwide. The team collaboratively works across multiple offices, including Stavanger, Tallinn, Aberdeen, Ukraine, and Kuala Lumpur, ensuring seamless execution and high‑quality delivery for our global client base.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and deploying implementations, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless. You will work on diverse tasks, including both tailored and standardized solutions. Most of the time, you will work as part of a team; however, there may be smaller projects that you complete alone, but you will always have the team to support.

You will be responsible for implementing and setting up solutions before handing them over to the operational teams. This means there is no maintenance or ongoing operational work in this role, allowing you to fully concentrate on delivering high‑quality solutions with minimal distractions. You'll join a vibrant and knowledgeable group of network specialists that designs, configures, and implements network solutions for both new and existing customers. Whether working on private, public, or hybrid cloud solutions for offshore and onshore clients, your role will have a real impact from day one.

A significant part of your role involves collaborating with third‑party vendors, customers, and colleagues, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and implement advanced network solutions
  • Plan and deliver new implementations, upgrades, and pilots
  • Work with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Collaborate with product teams on innovative technical solutions
  • Work closely with vendors and customers for smooth project delivery and operations
  • Support our culture of knowledge sharing and help mentor junior colleagues
What You Bring
  • Proven experience within network technology, ideally at least 7–10 years
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures
  • Vendor‑specific knowledge of CheckPoint and Cisco. Additional Juniper and Palo Alto exposure is beneficial
  • In‑depth knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and switching technologies
  • Understanding of wireless networking standards and technologies
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as Catalyst Center, Zabbix and NetFlow
  • Experience in troubleshooting and implementation of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN firewalls, WLC, identity solutions (Cisco ISE), etc.
  • Experience with 3rd line customer support
  • Experience with solution design and architecture
  • Experience automating network tasks and improving efficiency
  • Experience with cloud networking solutions and services from providers like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Experience in technical sales
