Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PV systems, LV systems, and AC/DC cabling.

Job description

Location: Klang Valley

Industry: Solar Energy (Commercial & Industrial – Rooftop, Ground-Mounted, Solar Farms)

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: design review → procurement → installation → testing & commissioning → handover.
• Develop master schedules, manpower plans, material forecasts, and weekly work programs.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review PV system designs, inverter configurations, cable routing, grounding, and BOS systems.
• Ensure compliance with MS IEC, SEDA, ST & TNB requirements.
• Lead daily site operations, subcontractor coordination, and HSE compliance.
• Resolve site issues promptly and maintain documentation (site diaries, QAQC checklists).
• Coordinate material orders, delivery schedules, and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure cost control and timely execution.
• Plan and lead commissioning activities, verify test results, and ensure smooth client handover.
• Maintain strong client relationships, attend progress meetings, and manage variations.

Mentor site engineers and ensure high team productivity and safety

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 4–7 years in Solar / Renewable Energy / M&E project management.
• Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted C&I projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, LV systems, AC/DC cabling, switchgear, grounding, and BOS.
• Familiarity with SEDA, ST, TNB, DOSH, CIDB regulations.
• Strong communication in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Own transport and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
