Job Title: D365 CE/CRM Functional Consultant / Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated D365 CE/CRM Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to join our team at iSoftStone. This is a critical role for an individual who excels at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be instrumental in the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions for our clients.

Your extensive experience will be vital in leading requirements analysis, designing effective solutions, and ensuring flawless execution. A key part of this role is your ability to act as a "techno-functional" consultant—providing expert technical advice and suggesting strategic system customizations that align with both business goals and best practices.

Note: This role requires you to work in the UK timezone (3 days per week) to support our projects in Europe. We are also looking for a candidate who is open and willing to travel to the UK in the future for on-site collaboration and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis & Strategic Design: Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture, analyze, and document complex business processes. Translate these requirements into comprehensive functional and technical specifications.
  • System Configuration & Implementation: Design and configure D365 CE modules (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) to meet client requirements. This includes advanced configuration of forms, views, dashboards, business rules, workflows, and business process flows.
  • Techno-Functional Leadership: Provide expert technical advisory, assessing the feasibility and impact of complex customizations. Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical solutions are robust, scalable, and align with functional designs. Recommend the appropriate use of out-of-the-box features, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), or custom code (JavaScript, plug-ins, custom APIs).
  • Data & System Integrity: Ensure security roles, access teams, and business units are configured correctly to maintain data integrity and security.
  • Training & Support: Develop and deliver training programs and materials for end-users. Provide high-level post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Project Management & Client Relations: Participate in project planning, manage task prioritization, and provide regular status updates to both internal teams and clients. Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and ensure project success.
Job Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE/CRM) projects. You should have a proven track record of leading multiple full lifecycle implementations from start to finish.

Deep Functional & Technical Knowledge:

  • Expert-level understanding of the D365 CE data model and core functionalities across multiple modules.
  • Advanced proficiency in D365 CE configuration.
  • Value Added: Experience with the Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Value Added: understanding of the D365 CE development landscape (e.g., JavaScript, C# for plugins, Web API) to effectively communicate with and advise developers.

Consulting & Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and capable of leading projects independently.
  • A proactive and collaborative team player.

Flexibility & Travel:

  • The ability and willingness to work in the UK timezone is a strict requirement for this role. 3 days per week.
  • The willingness and interest to travel to the UK in the future for project meetings and client collaboration is essential.

Certifications (Highly Preferred):

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Other relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate).
