Mold Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Industry)

We're seeking a skilled Mold Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cal-Comp Precision (M) Sdn Bhd in Senai, Johor. This full-time position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plastic injection molds, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.

What you'll be doing

Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on plastic injection molds.

Repair mold as per instruction according to work instruction and quality procedure.

Perform mold modifications and upgrades as required.

Ensure molds are cleaned, lubricated and stored correctly.

Collaborate with production teams to optimise mold performance and productivity.

Maintain detailed records of all mold maintenance activities.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mold Maintenance Technician in the plastic injection industry.

Strong understanding of plastic injection mold design, manufacturing and repair processes.

Proficient in using mold maintenance equipment and tools.

Able to operate conventional machine such as Milling, Grinding and Turning.

Able to repair insert mold.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
