Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mobile-Focused Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will primarily design, develop, and maintain mobile applications, while also contributing to and supporting our existing web and backend systems built with React.js, Next.js, NestJS, and Express.js.

You will work closely with backend and product teams to deliver scalable, high-quality mobile solutions, while ensuring smooth integration with our current APIs, databases, and containerized services. This role is ideal for a mobile developer who is comfortable working across the stack when needed, especially for maintenance, enhancements, and system evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) using modern mobile frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, or native technologies).
• Integrate mobile applications with existing RESTful APIs built using NestJS and Express.js.
• Collaborate on backend development and maintenance using Node.js-based frameworks when required.
• Work with existing databases including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server for mobile-driven features and enhancements.
• Ensure mobile applications are performant, secure, and scalable.
• Containerize and support backend services using Docker to ensure consistent environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into mobile-first technical solutions.
• Assist with maintaining and modernizing existing web applications built with React.js and Next.js.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues across mobile and backend systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on mobile development.
• Proven experience building production mobile apps using React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and platform-specific considerations.
• Working knowledge of React.js and Next.js for web application maintenance and feature updates.
• Experience with NestJS and/or Express.js for backend integration and API development.
• Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2)
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized backend services.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of practices for mobile and backend systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience maintaining or migrating legacy systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend applications.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
