  • Optimize sales and profits by ensuring retail stores are stocked correctly.
  • Increase product visibility by improving shelf displays and defending brand visibility.
  • Manage stock levels and inventory distribution during visits.
  • Execute promotional displays within given timelines.
  • Check product freshness according to FIFO protocol.
  • Manage product displays and point of sales materials.
  • Build rapport with key stakeholders such as buyers and store employees.
  • Monitor market trends and report updates to the manager.

Purpose of the Role

Merchandiser helps to optimize company’s sales and profits by ensuring that retail stores are stocked with the right products in the right quantities. This may include stocking shelves, arranging and maintaining product displays, pricing products, and monitoring the store inventory.

Expectations of the Role

Increase product visibility by improving product shelf display and defend brand’s share of shelf

Manage the levels and distribution of stock, including full stock replenishment during call visit

Execute promotion display within the timeline given

Check product freshness in accordance with the “First Expiry First Out” basis

Manage home shelf display or planogram as per guidance provided, include price labels and point of sales materials

Build strong rapport with all key stakeholders such as buyers, store employees, etc

Be part of “eye & ear” on market trend and update to direct manager on a timely basis

Promote and adhere to Zuellig Pharma’s core values when carrying out day‑to‑day responsibilities and interactions
