Job summary

A leading healthcare facility in Kuala Lumpur seeks a qualified Medical Officer for Accident & Emergency services. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Medicine and 3-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves patient consultations, emergency case handling, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality care. Registration with the Malaysian Medical Council and a valid practicing certificate is mandatory. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to emergency healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree or Doctorate (PhD) in Medicine.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • MBBS or equivalent from recognized institutions, registered with Malaysian Medical Council, and possess a valid annual practicing certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to all patients including consultations, examination, treatment and prescription.
  • Handle all accident and emergency cases including resuscitation and admissions.
  • Complete medical reports for executive screening and insurance.
  • Promote preventive medicine to patients.
  • Ensure teamwork and cooperation among hospital staff.
  • Monitor the quality of work in the unit.

Job description
Medical Officer ( Accident & Emergency )

To attend to all patients (both in-patients and out-patients) which include consultations, examination, treatment and prescription of drugs for them.

To attend to all accident and emergency case which includes resuscitation, admissions and referrals.

To refer patients to consultations in TDMC Hospital Sdn Bhd.

To complete medical reports of executive screening, pre-employment, Fomema, insurance, police reports and other individual report.

To promote preventive medicine to patient.

To ensure team-work and good cooperation between doctors, nurses and all staff in the hospital.

To monitor the quality of work in the unit and to report to the manager of problems.

To help solve problem in the unit when unable to help problems, it must be brought to the manager of the unit.

Qualification and Experience:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Master's Degree or Doctorate (PhD) in Medicine or equivalent.

At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

MBBS or equivalent from recognized institutions

Registered with Malaysian Medical Council

Possess a valid annual practicing certificate
