Job summary

A newly established digital renovation platform in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth through onboarding interior designers and building strategic partnerships with home and lifestyle brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and business development, especially in the design and renovation sectors. This entrepreneurial role offers the chance to shape the platform's growth while enhancing designer and partner engagement. Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or partnerships, preferably in design & renovation or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of interior design or renovation ecosystem is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.

Role Overview

This is a hunter role and will be responsible for driving revenue by:
As Onboarding interior designers onto the platform
Build strategic partnerships with home & lifestyle brands, renovation & design suppliers, home appliances, banks, and related industries targeting homeowners and designers.
Develop, execute and manage end-to-end campaigns like promotional campaigns, partnership activations, events and ecosystem growth programs.
Ensure smooth execution, measurable outcomes and strong partner satisfaction to drive engagement and revenue growth.
Supporting market development by identifying opportunities and providing feedback to shape platform strategy

Key Responsibilities
  • Designer Acquisition & Engagement
    Identify, approach and onboard interior designers to the platform.
    Maintain and nurture long-term relationships to ensure designer satisfaction, retention and ongoing collaboration.
    Support designers in creating strong profiles and engaging with homeowners.
  • Industry Brand Partnerships
    Prospect and pitch to industry brands (e.g., home materials, furniture, décor, lighting, smart home solutions).
    Create partnership packages (Banner ads, sponsorships and lead generation).
    Prepare tailored proposals ,negoti­ate terms, finalize agreements and close contracts to secure partnerships and revenue growth
  • Sales & Pipeline Management
    Develop and execute a sales plan to hit revenue and onboarding targets.
    Track and report pipeline progress, revenue forecasts and client activities.
    Work closely with commercial director to create compelling campaigns and case studies.
    Identify new opportunities in the renovation ecosystem.
    Collect market feedback to inform product development and strategy.
Qualifications

Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships (preferably in design & renovation, real estate, or lifestyle industries).
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable working in a start-up environment.
Knowledge of interior design or renovation ecosystem is a strong plus.
Excellent communication in English , Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
